Some thumbnails for the idea of an animated pop up book with a hand crafted look. The idea would be that the book opens up revealing each part of the cell as if it were coming out of the book, made of paper, felt and other scrap book-y things.
Thumbnails for a concept for a 2d platformer inspired animation to explain the structure of a cell. here i've done sketches for exploring the structure of a prokaryotic cell. the idea is that a basic character will go from the start to the end of the cell, collecting hints that explain what each particular part of the cell is. I think im leaning toward this idea more but not sure which concept to go with just yet..
